Scavanger Hunt in Los Angeles

We spend most of today meeting kids from the other schools as we explored LA. We went to Hollywood Boulevard and visited the Roosevelt Hotel, Beverly Hills, Kodak Theater, Hollywood Wax Museum, Guinness World Records Museum, and Chinese Theater. Got some amazing pic's I'll be posting soon. Only issue throughout the day was that public transportation is a real pain in this city. We spend 30 minutes waiting for a bus before someone told us we needed to step into the street and flag the bus for it to stop. Overall the day was pretty fun though, and we got all got a chance to meet some pretty interesting people.

Dinner and a Fun Night Out

We went to dinner at the Bonaventure Brewing Company and mingled with some of the other 30 teams here. Picture are (1) us with Carnegie Mellon and Babson and (2) us with our two USC hosts Brittney and Stephanie. Now for a fun night out on the town!

Opening Ceremony

At 6:00pm we had the opening ceremony in the Omni Ballroom. I've uploaded a quick video of the USC Marching Band, which came to welcome / attempt to intimidate us.

When we got to baggage claim, we found a beautiful black stretch limo waiting for us. Nice! We all had a bit too much fun chillin' in the back seat.

We're here in Los Angeles and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!

After a long flight from Philadelphia to Vegas then to LAX, we finally arrive in the beautiful city of Los Angeles! Here's a quick pic of us posing at the airport.
